This multifunctional sewing thread is made of a polyester core with a high tensile strength and covered with a cotton sheath.
It combines high tensile seam strength with very high abrasion resistance.
The satin shiny finish is obtained by polishing the thread in a special process designed to prevent the thread from turning up while sewing.
This makes it the ideal thread for sewing heavy and tricky materials.
The result is strong and tight seams, even when sewing thick fabrics, leather or multiple layers. The cotton mantle swells in wet weather to fill the needle holes, making this yarn the best thread for outdoor applications.
